Pre-recorded videos have become a popular and cost-effective way to access Spanish learning with a tutor, but in an accessible and flexible way, due to the ability to stop and start at your leisure and repeat exercises as many times as you need to. The lessons are structured in a clear way with careful instruction and plenty of explanation to
accompany the grammar points. We have been providing weekly recorded grammar lessons to students for the last two years and this has proved a popular option, as much for those who have less time and can’t make it to a group class as for
those who use these in addition to a group class, or as the more detailed grammar addition to their DuoLingo experience.
For the complete beginners we have put together a short course of five lessons which cover the core basics and will give a head start to your own efforts with an application such as DuoLingo or for when you choose to pick up the language in more depth.
For exam-based lessons and students we call upon our experience as classroom teachers to provide a continual focus on the exam criteria and how to score well in each area of the exam. We provide lessons based on the themes within the curriculum, with vocabulary, grammar and practice questions from each of the modules, and also exam specific revision lessons with a higher focus on the common exam traps that can so easily catch you out and provide you with a thorough understanding of the mark scheme and how to impress the examiners.

We are working on a new trial of video lessons for those who want more specific content, such as “holidaying in Spain”, “falling in love in Spain” or “buying a house in Spain”. These will come as a series of 3 x 1 hour recorded lessons and will be fun and engaging as well as valuable for your journeys and adventures in Spain.
